Comprehensive Piano Learning Guide

Most piano resources are useful on their own. The hard part is knowing what to do next. This guide turns the original sight-reading chart into one practical path from beginner reading to intermediate playing.

Pick one main course. Work through one section at a time. Use the videos for explanation and the PlaySheet pieces for actual practice.

Level 0 deliberately avoids dyads and chords. Focus on single-note lines, steps and skips, both staves, basic dynamics, articulation, and a steady pulse.

Start leaving fixed five-finger positions early. Read interval shapes instead of saying every note name to yourself.

Move on when

you can finish an easy unfamiliar piece with both hands and keep the pulse through small mistakes.
